Terms

Terms

Last updated: 23 October 2026

The short version

  • The Club is monthly or annual, with no contract. Cancel whenever you like.
  • Founding Members keep £20 a month for as long as they stay. Leave, and that price doesn't come back.
  • Changed your mind? You have 14 days from first joining to cancel and get your money back (less any days you've used).
  • Shop orders follow our delivery & returns page: free delivery and 14 days to change your mind.
  • Everything here is general guidance, not medical advice. Listen to your body, and see a GP or physio if something hurts.

These terms don't affect your legal rights as a UK consumer. If anything here ever seems to say otherwise, your legal rights win.

Who we are

PKSRUNS is run by Paul Kingsley-Smith, a sole trader trading as PKSRUNS Coaching & Consultancy, based in Bridgwater, Somerset, UK. "We", "us" and "Paul" in these terms all mean the same person. You can reach us at hello@pksruns.com.

These terms cover pksruns.com, the PKS Training Club (the Club), 1:1 coaching and the PKSRUNS shop. By joining, buying or using the site, you agree to them. How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.

Your health comes first

  • General guidance, not medical advice. Paul is a Level 3 personal trainer, not a doctor, physio or dietitian. Blog posts, Club content, webinars and tools like the run planner are general and aren't tailored to your health.
  • Check before you start. If you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, are returning after a long break or aren't sure, speak to your GP before starting a new exercise routine.
  • Stop if something's wrong. If you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or unusual breathlessness, stop and get medical advice.
  • You're in charge of your training. You choose what you do and how hard you push, so you take part at your own risk, within the limits of the law (see "The legal bits").
  • Struggling? If anything you read here about food, weight or mental health feels close to home, please talk to your GP. You can call Samaritans free on 116 123, or Beat on 0808 801 0677 for eating disorder support.

The PKS Training Club

What you get

An online community on Circle (pkstraining.club) with the weekly rhythm (Sunday focus, Monday Promise, daily log, Saturday highs and lows), a live lunchtime webinar on Wednesdays, a monthly Ask Me Anything, replays, the strength library, short courses and training plans. The Club is for adults aged 18 and over.

The Club will grow and change over time. We may add, swap or retire content, sessions or features. If we ever make a change that leaves the Club noticeably worse for you, we'll tell you first and you can cancel.

Prices

MembershipMonthlyAnnualNotes
Founding Member£20 a month£220 a yearFirst 15 members only. Your founding price is yours for as long as you stay a member. If you cancel, it doesn't come back.
Standard£29 a month£319 a yearOpens once the 15 founding places are gone.
  • Annual members also get a 15-minute 1:1 welcome call with Paul to set your focus and plan your first few weeks.
  • There's no free trial. That's on purpose.
  • Joining the waiting list is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
  • Price changes. Founding prices never change while you stay. If the standard price ever changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects you, so you can cancel first if you'd rather. An annual price is fixed for the year you've paid for.

Payment and renewal

You pay when you join, through Circle's secure checkout. Your membership then renews automatically every month or every year, on the same date, until you cancel. We'll email you before an annual membership renews. You can check your renewal date any time in the Club under your profile photo > Billing.

If a payment fails, you'll get an email so you can update your card. If it can't be taken, your access will pause until it's sorted.

Cancelling

  • Cancel any time in the Club: tap your profile photo (top right), then Billing. Or email hello@pksruns.com. No contracts, no awkward phone calls.
  • Monthly: you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • Annual: you keep access until the end of your paid year, and it won't renew. Annual memberships aren't refunded if you cancel part-way through the year (apart from the 14-day right below).
  • Your 14-day right to cancel. UK law gives you 14 days from the day you first join to change your mind. Because your access starts straight away when you join, if you cancel within those 14 days we'll refund what you paid, less the cost of the days you've used. Refunds go back to your card within 14 days.

Club guidelines

The Club works because people are kind to each other. By joining, you agree to:

  • Be kind. Everyone started somewhere. Celebrate effort, not just results.
  • No body shaming, diet shaming or pace shaming.
  • Share what works for you, but don't tell others what they must do, and don't give medical advice.
  • No selling, spam or affiliate links.
  • Keep it in the Club: don't share other members' posts, photos or details outside it.
  • Keep your login to yourself. A membership is for one person.

If someone breaks these guidelines, we may remove posts, and for serious or repeated problems suspend or end their membership. We'll always talk to you first unless someone's safety is at risk. If we end a membership because of our own decision rather than a breach, we'll refund any unused time.

Your posts and live sessions

Anything you post in the Club stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside the Club so the community works. We'll only share your posts, wins or photos outside the Club (for example in a Member Spotlight on social media) if you've said yes first.

Live webinars are recorded and the replays are posted in the Club. Your camera and microphone are optional. If you'd rather not appear in a replay, keep them off or use the chat.

1:1 coaching

1:1 coaching is £109 a month and includes Club membership. It includes a 30-minute online consultation to start, a plan written around your life and your goal, personal calorie and macro targets, and a weekly one-to-one check-in with written feedback from Paul.

  • Health check first. Before coaching starts, you'll complete a short health questionnaire. If anything in it needs a doctor's OK, we'll ask you to get that before we begin. Paul works within the scope of a Level 3 personal trainer and won't diagnose or treat injuries or medical conditions.
  • Honest expectations. Coaching gives you structure, accountability and expert guidance. Results depend on lots of things, including you, so we can't promise a particular result.
  • Payment and cancelling. Coaching is paid monthly and you can cancel any time, with access to the end of the month you've paid for. The same 14-day right to cancel applies when you first sign up.
  • The detail. When coaching opens, we'll confirm everything in writing before you pay, including how check-ins work and what happens if you need to pause.

The shop

  • Everything is printed to order by our printing partner and posted to you. Delivery is free, and most UK orders arrive within 7 to 10 days.
  • Prices are in pounds and are the total you pay for the item. Your country may charge import duties on international orders, which aren't included.
  • Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order.
  • Returns, faults and lost parcels are covered in full on our delivery & returns page. In short: 14 days to change your mind once your order arrives, and anything faulty or wrong is replaced or refunded.
  • Colours on screen can look a little different in real life, and printed sizing can vary slightly. Each product page has sizing details.

Using the site

  • Our content is ours. Words, photos, videos, plans, courses and designs on pksruns.com and in the Club belong to PKSRUNS (or are used with permission). You're welcome to use them for your own training and to share links. Please don't copy, resell or republish them without asking.
  • Tools are for guidance. The run planner, fuel check, quizzes and live Strava stats are there to help and entertain. They're not medical tools, and they may occasionally be wrong or unavailable.
  • Comments on the blog are welcome. We may remove anything unkind, unsafe, spammy or off-topic.
  • Links to other sites (like Strava, YouTube or race websites) are there to help. We're not responsible for what's on them.
  • Affiliate links. Some links, such as book recommendations, may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we'd use ourselves.
  • What we're responsible for. We'll provide the Club, coaching and products with reasonable care and skill, as described. If we don't, you have legal rights, and we'll put it right.
  • What we can't be responsible for. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, for injuries that come from ignoring the health guidance above, or for problems caused by things outside our control (such as Circle, Squarespace or internet outages). Our total responsibility to you for the Club or coaching is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months.
  • What we never limit. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
  • Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for changes that affect members, we'll email you at least 30 days before they apply.
  • If something goes wrong. Please email us first. We'd much rather sort it out properly.
  • Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
